The Canadian Safe School Network is pleased to offer the Safe Schools Certification Institute - a three-part safe schools training program, developed by educators for educators.

2011 Summer Institute Details:
Part 1: August 15-16, 2011 9:00am - 3:00pm
Cost: $435.00 (includes breakfast, lunch & breaks on both days, course materials and certification of successful completion)
Modules include: Legislation (Bills 212, 157 & 168), School Culture & the Promotion of Positive Student Behaviour, Investigations, Progressive Discipline & Restorative Practices, Bullying & Harassment Issues.
Part 2: August 17-18, 2011 9:00am - 3:00pm
Cost: $435.00 (includes breakfast, lunch & breaks on both days, course materials and certification of successful completion)
Modules include: Overview of Legislation (Bills 212, 157 & 168), Search & Seizure, Introduction to Emergency Preparedness, Gangs, Legal Issues.
Part 3: August 18th, 5:00pm – 9:00pm & August 19th, 2011 9:00am – 3:00pm
Cost: $375 (includes meals, course materials and certificate of successful completion)
Modules include: Advanced Emergency Preparedness, Overview of Legislation (Bills 212, 157 & 168), Tresspass to Property, Cybersafety, Risk & Threat Assessment.
